Academics are intentionally interwoven into our play-based learning. Children engaged in different curriculum themes are counting apples, reading about dinosaurs and learning their names, making transportation vehicles out of playdough, singing about farm animal sounds, working collaboratively to assemble a 24-piece floor puzzle, and learning to recognize and write their names. Alongside their academic learning, children are also advancing emotionally, socially, physically, linguistically, creatively, and culturally, which we value equally with their academic progress.
